Tennis

Meadowood offers the tennis player an ideal opportunity for a unique and memorable tennis experience. The tennis courts are designed to complement the inspiring natural landscape that characterizes Meadowood. The seven immaculately maintained plexi-pave hard courts blend harmoniously with the statuesque oaks, pines, and maple trees that forest the area. Deer are frequently seen grazing the terraced viewing lawns of the center court, while vigilant hawks and chatty woodpeckers circle overhead.
Situated in the middle of this peaceful tennis setting is the Tennis Pro Shop, offering racket rentals, ball machine rental, balls, accessories, shoes, clothing and gifts. The staff is trained to assist guests with nearly any tennis request, from finding a competitor for a game to arranging a lesson focusing on specific tennis skills. A viewing deck is located just below the Tennis Shop.

Court fees are sixteen dollars for singles and twenty-four dollars for doubles. Fees guarantee one hour of playing time and full day playing privileges on any available court. Private instruction with the head pro is available at ninety dollars per hour or fifty dollars per half-hour. Private instruction with our associate pro is available at eighty dollars per hour or fifty dollars per half-hour. A one-hour semi-private lesson with our pro is one-hundred dollars and eighty-six dollars with our assistant pro. Rackets are available for rent in the Tennis Shop for five dollars per day.
