Chefs: Fabian von Hauske & Jeremiah Stone, New York
Fabian von Hauske and Jeremiah Stone are the Chefs behind Contra and Wildair in New York City. The two were awarded “Best New Chefs” by Food & Wine Magazine in 2016. Fabian was born and raised in Mexico City, and spent time working at Faviken and Attica before arriving to New York. Jeremiah is originally from Maryland, and spent time working at Noma and Rino before returning to New York. The two opened Contra together in 2013, where Fabian drives the pastry and bread program, and Jeremiah creates compelling tasting menus highlighting local, seasonal ingredients.
