Each evening guests are invited to join us for a tasting of an outstanding Napa Valley wine. Most evenings feature a Napa Valley red wine. On Friday evenings our tradition is to share a Napa Valley sparkling wine. Along with the wine, enjoy spirited discussions about wine and colorful local vintners.


Understanding and Enjoying Wines


This program is designed for those looking to begin their exploration of wine. Our wine educator, Gilles de Chambure, MS offers guests an introduction in:
· Wine Tasting
· Grape Varietals
· Grapegrowing
· Reading Wine Labels
· Wine Storage and Service
· Napa Valley Appellations.

Setting: The Restaurant Bar or Terrace
Time: One hour

Gilles de Chambure, MS brings a passion for Napa Valley wine and a diverse wine background to Meadowood. Through the wine education program, he shares his natural enthusiasm for and knowledge of wine and the essential role it plays in society. Relying on his multi-faceted, international wine background and engaging speaking style Gilles crafts innovative wine events, tastings and Napa Valley excursions with a lively, informative approach that will inspire wine lovers of all levels.
